Privacy and cookies

Practical AI World (practicalai.world) is run by Carl Carter. This page explains what we collect and the choices you have.

Cookies and analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to see which pages people find useful. It sets cookies (names starting _ga) that recognise repeat visits and measure how the site is used.

  • Analytics cookies are only set if you click Accept on the cookie banner. If you reject them or ignore the banner, Google Analytics doesn’t load at all.
  • We store your choice in your browser’s local storage, not a cookie, so we don’t ask again on every page.
  • You can change your mind at any time with Cookie settings in the footer. If you withdraw consent, we delete the analytics cookies from your browser.

We don’t use advertising cookies, and we don’t sell your data.

The download form

When you request a free download we ask for your email address and, optionally, your first name.

  • We use them to email you the download link. If you tick the newsletter box, we also send you new playbooks by email. You can unsubscribe from any newsletter email.
  • Emails are sent through Resend, which stores your contact details on our behalf.
  • The form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to block spam bots. It checks your browser without setting tracking cookies.

Hosting

The site is hosted on Cloudflare, which processes standard technical data (such as IP addresses) to deliver pages securely.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal data we hold about you, or object to how we use it. Email privacy@practicalai.world and we’ll respond within one month. If you’re unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).
